MARVEL NOW Spiderwoman final MCU

So, here is the latest installment for my “Fan of” series of cinematic style Marvel and DC Universe characters……Jessica Drew, Agent of SHIELD. Inspired by my love for the growing MCU and deviant artist Needham-Comics own version of Agent Drew. Check it out here: needham-comics.deviantart.com/…

I chose a more tactical outfit rather than tight spandex, but I didn’t stray to far from that. Needham made it work nicely so I wanted to try my hand at it as well. I didn’t add the “web wings” because I couldn’t figure out a practical use for them since the character no longer needs them to fly (at least from what I know since the “Invasion” storyline). I thought about doing some sort of Wingsuit thingy but…..nah. Again..thanks Needham for the Inspiration. Time to head back to the original “choose from the MU Encyclopedia” format. I still plan to do a Carol Danvers…but gonna move forward with my choice of Jean Gray (Dark Phoenix) first. Was hoping for something a little more C or D list….but… I like red heads.  For those new to the page this "Fan of Marvel NOW" art is a series of quick concepts of "A to D" list characters from the Marvel Universe, picked randomly from the 2014 Updated Marvel Encyclopedia Hardback book I recently purchased (With the exception of this one). The more mainstream characters may or may not be done but we will see. I based these drawings on how I would have like to see the costumes in the MCU, but most importantly The objective is for me to really get some recreational practice time in with my digital arts. Been doing a lot of admin lately and feeling a little less engaged. Getting my art mojo back. I wil be doing some DC characters when requested but mostly the "C" and "D" list characters since we see the "A" and "B" characters often. As always…Love'em all the same though.
